The Jakob K. Javits Convention Center

The Jakob K. Javits Convention Center is located on Manhattan’s West Side, steps away from the Hudson River, and some of New York City’s most exciting tourist, dining, entertainment and shopping destinations: Hudson Yards, Madison Square Garden, and the High Line. 

“Javits,” as it’s known locally, is a state-of-the-art convention center, and is one of the top convention centers in the trade show, exhibition and convention industry. Javits replaced the New York Coliseum when it opened in 1986, and it now serves as New York’s primary convention and expo center. 

The Jacob K. Javits Convention Center boasts more than 1,800,000 sq.ft. of total area space and 850,000 sq.ft. of total exhibit space. This convention center also includes individual halls that can withstand 150-5,000 attendees. Javits is home to such events and conventions as the New York International Auto Show and New York Comic Con.

Located just minutes away, Metro Exhibits provides full trade show services including trade show booth rentals, custom exhibits, booth design, installation and dismantle, and storage,  to all exhibitors at the Javits Center.
