FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

A professionally designed exhibit does more than make your booth look good—it helps turn your space into an environment built around your brand, audience, and exhibiting goals. Metro Exhibits begins by understanding what you want to accomplish and then develops a design around your brand visuals, unique selling points, required booth components, and visitor experience. The goal is to create an exhibit that attracts attention while giving your team a functional space for conversations, demonstrations, presentations, and other show objectives.

The timeline depends on the size and complexity of the exhibit, your show date, and the number of revisions involved. Metro follows a four-stage design process: Discovery, Creative Brainstorm, Design Iterations, and Final Design. We first identify your goals and must-have booth elements, then develop and refine concepts with your feedback before final CAD and 3D renderings are completed. Starting early gives the team more time to explore ideas and prepare for fabrication.

Metro can develop exhibit concepts ranging from smaller inline spaces to large custom island exhibits and complex environments. Designs can incorporate reception counters, meeting areas, product displays, storage, A/V, video walls, specialty lighting, hanging signs, and other custom features. Because Metro also provides fabrication, graphics, logistics, installation, and related exhibit services, designs can be developed with the realities of building, transporting, and installing the finished booth in mind.

Design iterations are an intentional part of Metro’s collaborative process. After an initial concept is developed, your team can review it, provide feedback, and work with the designers to refine the booth before final approval. The exact number and scope of revisions can vary by project and should be established as part of your proposal. Once the design is approved, the final specifications are coordinated for fabrication.

Metro can manage all of these services, but the exact services included in your project depend on your proposal. Beyond exhibit design, Metro offers fabrication, graphic design, printing and signage, project management, shipping and logistics, storage, inventory management, and installation and dismantle services. This allows clients to work with one exhibit partner across the full program instead of coordinating multiple vendors.

You do not need to arrive with a finished concept. Helpful starting information includes your booth size, show and venue, budget range, brand guidelines, exhibiting goals, products or services you want to feature, desired meeting or demonstration areas, technology requirements, and examples of designs you like. During Discovery, Metro works with your team to turn those requirements into direction for the creative process.

Metro has designed and delivered exhibits for thousands of exhibitors across a wide range of industries. Its portfolio includes work for organizations such as AWS, Fabuwood, Feeney, Amphenol, Beacon, Aya Healthcare, Infosys, Casio, Colgate-Palmolive, and many others. That experience gives the design team exposure to a wide variety of booth sizes, brand requirements, venues, industries, and exhibiting objectives.
