Metro Exhibits Appoints Michael B. Graff as Chief Executive Officer to Lead Next Phase of Strategic Growth
Pine Brook, NJ — October 13, 2025 — Metro Exhibits, a leader in custom trade show exhibit design and fabrication, today announced the appointment of Michael B. Graff as the company's first Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The newly created role is central to the company's strategy to expand market reach and scale business operations in the rapidly evolving trade show, conference and events environment.
Mike joins Metro Exhibits to guide the firm through its robust growth. As CEO, his primary focus will be on leveraging Metro’s strong brand and product offerings to significantly increase market share and organizational growth. "We have a terrific brand and product, but only a small share of the market," said Graff. "My goal is to aggressively grow the business, increase scalability, and create opportunities for our employees to take on larger roles and responsibilities."
Graff brings more than 45 years of executive leadership experience, having spent 36 years at Sandy Alexander, a large commercial printer. There, he rose from a sales role to CEO, and ultimately, an owner of the company, guiding its growth to over $120 million in revenue and more than 400 employees across four manufacturing locations, and establishing a national reputation for industry excellence and innovation.
Company founder Phil Zamloot will remain in his critical role as President, shifting his focus to his core passion and strength: client relationships. This includes client acquisition and retention and ensuring that every customer has a remarkable experience. "This transition allows me to dedicate all my time to what I truly love and what I am best at, ensuring our clients receive the highest level of personal attention.
"Metro is growing in leaps and bounds, and as the trade show industry evolves, we saw a need for a proven executive leader like Mike to complement my own passion for building relationships," said Zamloot. Graff added, "After consulting with Metro for the past year, I realized how much I valued the culture, the people, and the product. It was a perfect synergy of my interests—sales, construction, technology, and creativity.”
Graff sees innovation and technology as key differentiators for future growth, outlining an intent to evolve Metro Exhibits into a provider of more holistic client services. “We will be implementing a company-wide ERP system and exploring how AI can enhance the customer experience. Technology will not just support us; it will differentiate us in the market."
Metro Exhibits is excited to welcome Michael Graff and looks forward to a dynamic new chapter of strategic growth and operational excellence under his leadership.
