We were so impressed with the resilience and attitude of Austin Hatch that we hosted him to speak to our entire company, along with many guests, including NBA SuperBowl XXV MVP Ottis Anderson and New Jersey’s NBA legend, Eric Murdock.
As Austin says, our circumstances do not define us; our responses do.
Austin’s journey from tragedy to triumph began with a devastating childhood plane crash that took his family. Despite the loss, he chose to embrace positivity and honor their memory. Through perseverance, he found solace in basketball and earned a scholarship at the University of Michigan.
Incredibly, yet another crash brought more sorrow, but Austin emerged stronger. Overcoming adversity, he excelled in sports, education, and now inspires others through speaking engagements.

Austin believes that life’s true essence lies in our impact on others, a belief that drives him to empower individuals and teams to conquer challenges with resilience and determination.
Austin has been featured on ESPN and in People Magazine and has spoken to groups around the USA, including at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis.
What does this have to do with designing or building trade show booths? A lot! Most projects are seamless, but there are times when flight delays, weather, traffic, venue issues, etc. can complicate things. Laying blame doesn’t fix anything. Identifying the problem and delivering the solution does, with a can-do, positive attitude by your dedicated project manager and onsite support.
