The Boston Convention and Exhibition Center is not located in the main city, but it’s relatively new construction (the center was opened in 2004) saw an increase in development in the South Boston neighborhood in which it is located. Hotels, restaurants and retail shops are available in the immediate area of The Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. The Boston Convention and Exhibition Center supports a main exhibition floor with three (3) bays in which separate trade shows can be hosted at the same time; however, these bays can also be combined to support one large show, conference or event.
