The American International Toy Fair

The American International Toy Fair is one of the oldest, ongoing trade shows/expositions in the United States. It is also billed as the largest toy trade show in the Western Hemisphere. The American International Toy Fair began in 1903 and it is held in the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, New York. The toy fair occurs in mid-February and spreads from the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center into a number of individual showrooms throughout the city.

The International Toy Fair is open only to toy industry businesses and professionals. It is not open to the public and no one under 18 will be admitted. Attendance usually tops over 1,200 manufacturers, distributers and importers from over 100 countries. 5,000 retailers attend the show yearly. Over 150,000 products will be showcased at the American International Toy Fair.
