Job Summary
The Fulfillment Associate is responsible for processing orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely shipping and inventory accuracy. This role involves picking, packing, shipping, and managing stock to meet customer expectations and support smooth warehouse operations. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and works well in a team-oriented setting.

Essential Functions
  • Order Processing: Pick, Pack, and prepare orders for shipping according to company procedures. Verify the accuracy od orders by cross-checking with pick list. Label and document shipments and paperwork to ensure accurate tracking.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Process outgoing shipments ensuring timely carrier pickups. Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and condition. Update paperwork and team with shipment and receipt data.
  • Inventory: Organize and store inventory efficiently in designated areas. Report stock discrepancies to supervisors. Complete cycle counts following provided paperwork and procedures.
  • Quality Control: Ensure products are in good condition before packaging and shipping. Identify and report quality issues to the supervisor. Follow company standards to maintain consistency and accuracy in fulfillment.
  • Warehouse Operations Support: Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed. Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe. Operate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts, if certified.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations. Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding order issues or delays.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
·         Product Knowledge: Familiarity with tradeshow products, including modular/portable systems.

·         Graphics Application: Experience with PVC (Sintra), vinyl, and fabric installation.

·         Time Management: Ability to complete tasks in an organized and timely manner within a fast-paced environment.

·         Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to coordinate with others and achieve shared goals.

·         Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Smart Sheet, Excel, and ERP systems like Exhibit Force.

·         Supplier Interaction: Experience working with tradeshow component suppliers.

·         Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime when necessary and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

·         Physical Requirements:  Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 70 lbs.

·         Inventory: Knowledge of inventory control processes and best practices.

·         Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to connect the dots and apply common sense to resolve issues and enhance processes.

 

 

Roles and Responsibilities

·         Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate shipping activities to ensure on-time carrier pickups. Receive shipments, inspect for damage or discrepancies, and update records. Maintain accurate shipping documentation.

·         Inventory: Organize and store items efficiently in designated areas. Conduct cycle counts to maintain stock and location accuracy. Report discrepancies to supervisors.

·         Quality Control: Inspect products to meet company standards and customer specifications. Report quality issues promptly to supervisors.

·         Warehouse Operation Support: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Adhere to safety protocols at all times.

·         The physical demands are minimal and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations. Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 70 lbs.

Key Performance Indictor (K.P.I.)
·         Order Accuracy Rate: Maintain a 98% or higher order accuracy by ensuring errors remain below 2% across all processed orders, reinforcing precision and efficiency in fulfillment operations.

·         On-Time Shipping Rate: Ensure timely fulfillment by meeting the following targets: large orders within 5 days, small to medium orders within 2 days, and return inspections within 2 days. Aim for a 98% or higher on-time delivery rate across all order types.

·         Inventory Accuracy: Achieve a 95% or higher inventory accuracy rate by ensuring physical stock aligns with recorded levels, minimizing misplaced items and improving picking efficiency.

·         Order Processing Time: Optimize processing efficiency with the following labor targets: small orders within 2.5 hours, medium orders within 4 hours, and large orders within 6 hours. Strive to reduce overall cycle time by 10% each quarter.

·         Warehouse Compliance: Ensure 100% adherence to safety protocols and warehouse cleanliness standards, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
